# 19 My Best Photograph

My best work, the best photograph, I have ever taken.

Last summer of 2019. I took my camera to a family gathering, and that’s when I took this picture of my mom. I took my film camera because I like photographing with my film camera.

The camera I used to take this photograph is the Mamiya 645 pro and the film stock, I don’t remember, but I might have used the Fujicolor 400H.

This photograph is my best work because I could photograph my mother’s essence, laugh, and the big smile that many people would recognize forty years ago, today, or 20 years from now. I captured it with one frame my mother’s ageless beauty, selfless Love, Purity, Grace, and dignity. She Symbolises Virtue, faith, hope, and love.

If I would have used my digital camera, I highly doubt that I would have the same results. When my mother or other people see my digital camera, it’s like the police ask them if they saw anything. Maybe this is a bad analogy? I’m trying to say that they get uncomfortable with my big digital camera, they smile very little, and it’s just not themselves. When I shoot with my film camera, their guard comes down, and beautiful moments happens like this photograph. This is why I love my film camera.

Thank you, guys, for reading my blog.

Let’s keep shooting and Improving.
