Shooting at noon in Mexico

“You cannot appreciate light, until u have faced darkness”

I can’t say that this was a waste of roll of film because I got two pictures that I like, but the other eight photos are underexposed. I use a light meter app on my phone, but I, as the photographer, I have to adjust for what my main subject or how I want to document it. The light was harsh because it was the middle of the day, but I should have adjusted my setting for the sunny 16, maybe I would have better results. These pictures were shot on a Pentax 67, and I used a roll of Portra 400. Here are my photographs, I hope this information is helpful to someone.

This one feels like, I should go that way!
I have no idea why I shot this?
I don’t like it, but I don’t hate it.
Best photo of the roll

Thank you for reading my post and I hope you have a great day!
