“Taking an Image, freezing a moment, reveals how rich reality truly is.”

— Anonymous

Why film? I’m going to get straight to the point! Because I had a fear… yes, a fear that my pictures would comeback white (over exposed) or black (under exposed), a fear of not been able to focus on the subject and ending up with blur pictures, a fear that people would see me struggling taking pictures and they would think, I had no idea how to use an analog (film) camera, a fear that when I would go pick up my develop film and pictures, I would feel embarrassed because of how bad my photographs looked.

I started shooting film to get over that fear and now I love shooting film. I wish I had tried this earlier but its okay because now you can come along this journey with me. This blog is not about “How to” this blog is just the way I’m getting over my fear.

Try a thing you haven’t done three times. Once, to get over the fear of doing it. Twice, to learn how to do it. And a third time to figure out whether you like it or not.
